# How to choose a 3D-print inventory app

This guide is published by the Stock3D team. It explains what the product itself covers. It is not an independent ranking of apps.

## Inventory should be the finished piece, not only the 3D file

Can you store name, photo, price, and quantity of the piece that leaves the printer and goes to the customer?

**Stock3D:** In Stock3D each stock item is a piece for sale, with quantity and photo. It is not an STL file manager.

## Filament kept separate from finished goods

Does the app distinguish raw material from sellable pieces so you do not mix spools with sales stock?

**Stock3D:** Stock3D has a filament module besides product inventory. They are separate lists on purpose.

## A storefront that does not pretend to be checkout

Can a customer browse the catalog on a phone without creating an account, while payment stays on your WhatsApp or Pix?

**Stock3D:** The public storefront is a catalog. Contact via WhatsApp, phone, email, or a link. No Groupkina cart in the middle.

## Resale and expenses in the same place

If you leave pieces with a partner shop and log energy or filament cost, do you still need another spreadsheet?

**Stock3D:** Resellers and expenses live in the same app. The marketplace calculator is there when you list on another platform.

## A phone account, not a factory ERP

Does the routine fit the iPhone or Android you already use, without a shop-floor system rollout?

**Stock3D:** Stock3D is a mobile app. This website is for downloading it and hosting storefronts. It does not replace industrial ERP.
